I am a MK. Any idea what that is? A missionary kid. It basically means that my I am the kid of missionaries on the field. Our field? Velyka Andrusivka, Ukraine. It's pretty awesome being a missionary kid, especially as I am a second generation one. My mom is English/German/French/Welsh and was born and brought up in France as an MK. My dad was a PK (pastor's kid) - actually come to think of it, and a PK as well as an MK :) - and he's half Russian and half Ukrainian. Of course there are the downsides of being an MK, but that goes without saying. The big dilemma is ''What the heck am I from?!'' and this something I'll have to live with the rest of my life. Am I English or am I Ukrainian? Or am I even French? I guess since I don't speak French yet, I'm not French, but when someone asks me where I am from it's like ''...'' LOL! But am I just gonna stop at being an MK? Nope! I wanna be a missionary in Japan one day! So that means my kids will be MKs, too. :3
Being an MK is freakin' awesome. Wouldn't exchange it for anything in the world - nothing!
